R3ign Drops is a driving force in the East African club scene, known for her high-octane sets that channel the darker edges of afro house, afro tech, 3-step, and gqom. Just as comfortable delivering a peak-time blowout at Nyege Nyege Festival as opening for Black Coffee under an Ibiza sunset, her selections are charged with ritualistic energy and sweat-soaked intensity.

Her DJ sets are a force field — pulsing, percussive, and deeply immersive — on par with Kampala heavyweights like Kampire and Catu Diosis when it comes to turning dance floors into charged, bass-heavy ceremonies.

As co-founder of the Dope Gal Collective, R3ign Drops splits her time in Kampala between underground parties and uplifting the next wave of fierce femme talent. She recently teamed up with fellow Nyege artist Hibotep to form the duo MWOYO, while also co-curating the bold and genre-bending ROHO event series.

With a background in dance and journalism, storytelling is embedded in her DNA. For R3ign Drops, DJing is more than sound — it’s testimony, transmission, and transformation. Through her music, she amplifies underground movements and spreads vital energy across every floor she touches.
